Mike Stahly joined DecisionTek as a Research Analyst at the end of 2011. Mr. Stahly provides research, project management, and analytical support for the firm's public-sector clients, which include the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), and the Transportation Research Board of the National Research Council (TRB).
For the FRA, Mr. Stahly provides project management, operational, software development, and risk analysis support for the Generalized Train Movement Simulator (GTMS), a computer simulation system that replicates the operations of a railroad. Mr. Stahly will help see the GTMS project through its fourth phase of development.
Prior to joining the DecisionTek team, Mr. Stahly had worked with a military infectious disease clinical research group under the National Institutes of Health and with NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. Mr. Stahly holds Bachelors degrees in Mathematics and Spanish Language from the University of Maryland, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Philosophy at St. John's College in Annapolis.
