DecisionTek is continuing the development of BCA.Net, the Federal Highway Administration's web-based tool for highway project benefit-cost analysis. New enhancements will include reporting features, an internal work zone cost calculator and the ability to evaluate projects that create new network routings. The revised BCA.Net should be available to the public by May 2011.

DecisionTek in partnership with Economic Development Research Group, System Metrics Group and Susan Jones Moses & Associates is conductiong National Cooperative Highway Research Project 8-85 "The Comprehensive Costs of Highway-Rail At-Grade Crossing Crashes". 

DecisionTek in partnership with TEMS will develop the National Cooperative Freight Research Program Project 30 "Web-Based Screen Tool for Shared-Use Rail Corridors". This 21 month research project will result in a tool that enables local authorities and service providers to screen options for new passenger rail services on existing freight rail corridors.

The Transportation Research Board's National Cooperative Freight Research Program (NCFRP) conducts research and disseminates timely findings that will inform investment and operations decisions affecting the performance of the freight transportation system. 

For the Federal Railroad Administration, DecisionTek is completing Phase III development of GTMS with positive train control (PTC) risk assessment capabilities.
